Dalyellup Music Academy, provides unique group music programs for children from 2 years of age and private piano and flute lessons for graduates of the group courses and beginners 10 years and older.
Nurturing a love and appreciation of music, Dalyellup Music Academy has an emphasis on creativity and performance. The fun, stimulating classroom environment focuses on developing holistic musicians, not just piano players. We want our students to play music, both by ear and by sight, compose and arrange music, play in ensembles and share their enthusiasm and joy for music making through performing in a variety of venues.
Located in Dalyellup, quality music education is convenient to all children in the Bunbury and Greater Bunbury area.
Our aim is to teach music as a language. The instruction is aurally based to maximize learning in young students, encouraging not only a love of music, but an understanding of music.
Dalyellup Music Academy currently runs early childhood music classes and after school piano classes/private lessons 5 days a week with over 230 students attending each week.
All of our early childhood music and group piano classes are written specifically for children and are supported with upbeat, modern backing tracks that assist students to learn the pieces.Our programs develop all technical and musical components, whilst still being fun and exciting. Individual piano lessons are available to group Piano class graduates or older beginners.
Our teachers are both highly experienced and fully qualified. Exams are available for both group and private students as well as participation in concerts, the Bunbury Eisteddfod and the South West Piano Festival.
